Nji Che - All Headline News African Correspondent Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - Unidentified Iraqi gunmen have killed a brother-in-law of the judge presiding over Saddam Hussein's genocide trial. A police statement issued on Friday said he was shot dead while riding in his car in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad. The 10-year-old nephew of chief judge Mohammed al-Ureybi and another person in the car were injured at the incident. But another report said the nephew also died and the judge's sister, identified as the third person, was fatally wounded by gunshots. Police did not go further to state whether the attack was connected to the ongoing Saddam trial. Ureybi was named chief judge last week, as the government dismissed his predecessor. One report identified the dead man as Kadhem Abdul Hussein. Hussein was in his 40s. The 10-year-old was identified as Karrar. They were attacked in Ghazaliya around 7 p.m. on Thursday.
