84 Bodies Recovered In Bangladesh
Som Patidar - All Headline News Staff Writer Dhaka, Bangladesh (AHN) - Bangladesh's death toll from Tuesday's storm in the Bay of Bengal reached 84 after rescuers recovered more bodies on Friday night in a rescue operation, which was disrupted by bad weather. A Bangladeshi official told a local media source that around 1,000 people remain missing. Nearly 500 fishing boats with about 5,000 fishermen sank in the Bay of Bengal in a sudden storm Tuesday. Local media is reporting hundreds of bodies of fishermen were floating on the Bay of Bengal.
