Pakistan, India To Resume Peace Talks
Nicole King - All Headline News Staff Writer Havana, Cuba (AHN) - Pakistani and Indian officials agreed Saturday to restart peace negotiations. The talks were suspended when train bombings killed more than 200 people in Mumbai in June. India blames Pakistan-based militants for the bombings. Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf and Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh are scheduled to meet at government protocol houses on the outskirts of Havana during the Non-Aligned Movement summit.
