Bomb Blast Kills 3 In Baghdad

Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - At least three people were killed and fifteen others injured when a bomb exploded in a busy market of the central Baghdad on Sunday.

The bomb exploded near Tahrir Square in the center of Iraq's capital, according to a police official.

"Our first report said that three people were killed and up to 15 others wounded," the police official continued.

According to Iraqi figures roughly 1,500 people were killed last month by bombings.
