Komfie Manalo - All Headline News Foreign Correspondent Seoul, South Korea (AHN) - South Korean intelligence has reported that Pyongyang is clinically-testing a new drug in Russia to be used for North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il who is said to be suffering from diabetes and heart disease. The Seoul-based Yonhap news agency quoted an unnamed lawmaker from South Korea's ruling party as saying that Kim Seung-Kyu, the director of South Korea's intelligence agency told him of the information. The official told Yonhap, "I heard about it from director Kim at a recent intelligence committee plenary session at parliament. His agency believes the two (test subjects), who are same in physique and age as Kim Jong-Il, are receiving the new medicine for diabetes and heart diseases at a hospital in Russia." But the National Intelligence Service would not confirm the report. According to intelligence information, the 64-year-old leader from the reclusive states is suffering from diabetes and other medical problems involving his kidney and liver. The report adds that Kim is having difficulties walking because of his poor health.
