Maoist Attack Kills 5 In Bangladesh
Som Patidar - All Headline News Staff Writer Dhaka, Bangladesh (AHN) - Four policemen and a Banladeshi ruling party official were killed in a Maoist attack in Naogaon town, in the northern part of the country, on Friday. A police official told a daily, published from Dhaka, that about 50 policemen and some villagers were also wounded in the 30-minute shoot-out between the police and Maoist. The Maoist groups, which operate in a large part of northern and western Bangladesh, targeted policemen, politicians, journalists and other sectors of society whom they deemed their class enemies. And Friday an attack on police considered their sequel of killing.
