Matthew Borghese - All Headline News Staff Writer Moscow, Russia (AHN) - Russia will send a former military Colonel to prison after he was found guilty of spying for Britain's MI6. A military court has sentenced Sergei Skripal to 13 years in a high-security penal camp for passing state secrets to Britain. According to Anton Yeliseyev, an official at the Moscow District Military Court, the 55-year-old was accused of working over a period of several years for MI6 - in particular revealing the names of several dozen Russian agents working in various European countries. Yevgeny Komissarov, another court spokesman explains, "His activities caused a significant blow to Russia's external security." Russian authorities believe Skripal was recruited in the 1990's, and was allowed to pass information to the West for years, in exchange for $100,000 USD.
