Americans Rally In Support Of Israeli War On Hezbollah
Ryan R. Jones - All Headline News Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Two thousand American Jews and Christians gathered in Denver Sunday in a mass show of support for Israel's war against Hezbollah. Organized by Americans Against Terrorism, the demonstration also denounced international efforts to impose a ceasefire that enables Hezbollah to continue posing a military threat to northern Israel. The AP reported that Israel's consul general for the western US, Ehud Danoch, addressed the gathering, explaining that Israel has no choice but to defeat Hezbollah. Said Danoch to the sound of enthusiastic applause, "We will not live like this anymore. Israel will not live like this anymore. If the international community will not disarm Hezbollah, Israel will disarm Hezbollah." Danoch also took the opportunity to thank Americans for holding such rallies, which he said gave great encouragement to the millions of Israelis now living in bomb shelters and battling in southern Lebanon.
