According to The Galil Report, "tens" of Hezbollah agents are operating inside Israel, most of them Arab citizens of the Jewish state. A senior Palestinian terrorist interviewed by the news service said Hezbollah regularly receives an "extremely high" level of intelligence, including maps and real-time information on the landings of rockets fired into Israel. As a result of this flow of information, Hezbollah is consistently scoring direct hits on Israeli towns and villages, as well as much smaller targets like Israel Defense Forces (IDF) installations. Israeli intelligence officials who spoke to the Galil Report said they were aware of the Hezbollah spy network, and were working ceaselessly to crack it. At least 12 suspected Hezbollah agents have been arrested over the past year as part of those efforts. They include a prominent Israeli-Arab political figure and a visiting Canadian professor. Without direct access to Israel, Hezbollah is said to recruit most of its Israeli-Arab agents during the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.
