Update: IDF Kills 14 Hezbollah Terrorists

Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Fourteen Hezbollah gunmen were killed during fierce battles with Israel Defense Forces (IDF) ground troops across southern Lebanon Monday morning.

Hezbollah's Al-Manar television said the group's members engaged advancing Israeli forces at the villages of Aita al-Shaab, Rub Thalatheen and Dibel. An intense firefight was also reported at Bint Jbeil, a major Hezbollah stronghold near the Israeli border.

Three IDF soldiers, including an officer, were wounded during the fighting.

Israeli military sources say that more than 400 Hezbollah terrorists have been killed over the past four weeks.
