Heavy Rain Kills 100 In Southern India
Som Patidar - All Headline News Staff Writer Hyderabad, India (AHN) - At least 100 people were killed and thousands evacuated as torrential rains continued in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The Metrological Department of India has forecast more rains over the next 12 hours in the entire region.Nearly, half dozens of flights and trains were cancelled following the continuous rain in the region. A state official told a news channel that naval helicopters are deployed in the region and rescue work continues to save the life of victims.
