Update: 2 Soldiers, 12 Terrorists Killed In Lebanon

Jones - All Headline News Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Two Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers were killed and two others wounded after coming under attack during an operation in the southern Lebanon village of Markaba overnight Friday. The troops, who were attacked with an anti-tank missile, managed to kill seven Hezbollah gunmen and found several of the terrorists' weapons caches. Two more Israeli soldiers were wounded when Hezbollah fighters fired another anti-tank missile in the nearby village of al-Taybeh. Forces operating in the southwestern sector of Lebanon killed another five terrorists in the villages of Shama and Mankhala. According to military and political officials, the IDF is at this point mopping up pockets of Hezbollah resistance in a four-mile deep strip of land on the Lebanese side of the border before advancing to the Litani River.
