Asian Terrorists Threaten Israel And It's Supporters
Ryan R. Jones - All Headline News Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Hundreds of Muslims from Southeast Asia have been trained and dispatched to carry out suicide bomb attacks against the vital interests of Israel and those nations that most support the Jewish state, said a top Islamic leader Friday. Suaib Didu, chairman of the Jakarta-based ASEAN Muslim Youth Movement (AMYM), told Reuters the operations were meant to avenge what he called "Israel's aggression in Palestine and Lebanon." He said more than 3,000 had signed up for the missions, but that only 200 had been dispatched so far. Didu warned that nations such as the US and Britain, as well as individual businesses, would also find themselves under attack if they did not cease support for and positive dealings with Israel. He in particular singled out nearby Australia, which has increasingly stood with both Israel and the US in the ongoing global war on Islamic terror, threatening that "if [Prime Minister] John Howard makes a statement in support of Israel, he will be a target." Canberra was reportedly taking the threat very seriously.
