Report: Bin Laden's Son Dispatched To Fight Israel
Ryan R. Jones - All Headline News Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - A son of Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden has reportedly been freed from house arrest in Iran and sent to the Syria-Lebanon border in order to recruit and establish terror cells there. According to the German newspaper Die Welt, Iran's Revolutionary Guard released Saad bin Laden on July 28 with the task of "building Islamic terror cells and preparing them to fight together with Hezbollah." Citing intelligence information, the newspaper wrote that "apparently Tehran is counting on recruiting Lebanese refugees in Syria for the fight against Israel, using bin Laden's help." American and European intelligence agencies have long suspected Iran of holding senior Al Qaeda figures in protective custody.
