IDF Kills 8-10 Terrorists In Gaza

Jones - All Headline News Correspondent Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - Israel Defense Forces operating in the southern Gaza Strip killed between eight and ten Palestinian terrorists during the pre-dawn hours Thursday. Another 15 terrorists were reportedly wounded in what has been dubbed "Operation Horizon," which is combining ground and air power to create suitable conditions on the ground to enable a political solution to the fighting there. The current round of fighting began after Hamas-affiliated terrorist abducted IDF Corporal Gilad Shalit and killed two other members of his tank crew. Israel immediately launched Operation Summer Rains, during which 160 terrorists were killed and hundreds more wounded. Israel's goal is to win the release of Shalit and curtail Palestinian rocket fire from Gaza on nearby towns in southern Israel.
