26 Militants Held In Bangladesh
Siddique Islam - All Headline News Foreign Correspondent Dhaka, Bangladesh (AHN) - Twenty-six members of the banned Islamic outfit Jamaatul Mujaheedin Bangladesh (JMB) were arrested by the elite Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in northern Bangladesh on Wednesday. According to reports, the elite battalion also recovered some bomb-making materials and training equipment from a militant den at Jibontola village under Bhaluka upazila in Mymensingh district. Investigators say, the den had four bunkers and two sentry outposts. The seizure came just a few days after the government alerted law enforcement officials about reorganization of the country's military. RAB, which has been interrogating the arrestees, said the militants belong to outlawed JMB that carried out 500 bomb blasts simultaneously across the country on August 17 last year.
