Pakistanis Beaten In Attacks In Britain
Ankit Gupta - All Headline News Staff Writer London, UK (AHN) - Two men of Pakistani origin were badly beaten by a mob of white youths in a racially motivated attack, police said, the latest in a string of such assaults in Northern England, reported Asian News International. The men, aged 24 and 30, had racist abuse hurled at them by a gang of up to 10 people. They were then attacked with sticks, leaving both of them in a "serious but stable" condition in hospital and one requiring facial surgery. Greater Manchester Police said the attack in the Salford area was "sickening and entirely unprovoked". Six people have been charged with beating to death a Pakistani-born taxi driver in Huddersfield. And three teenagers have been charged with murder following the death of a British-born man of Pakistani origin in a mass street fight in Preston on the same day.
