Suicide Bomb Kills 36 In Iraq
Som Patidar - All Headline News Staff Writer Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - At least 30 civilians were killed and 74 wounded in a suicide bomb explosion in a bus in eastern Baghdad suburb Sadr district on Sunday. The explosion took place between Sadr City and Jamila district, a Shiite-dominated area. Another car bombing on July 1 in Sadr City killed more than 60 civilians, which have raised fears of civil war in Iraq. In a statement, a US military official said that Iraqi troops raided a site in mainly Shiite eastern Baghdad targeting two people believed to be involved in attack. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki will visit Washington to meet President George Bush on Tuesday, where he is expected to discuss ways of improving security in Baghdad.
