Four Israeli Soldiers Missing Off Lebanon Coast
Komfie Manalo - All Headline News Foreign Correspondent Beirut, Lebanon (AHN) - The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has confirmed that four of its troopers were missing after Hezbollah militants launched an attack on one of its vessels off the coast of Lebanese coast. It was unclear if the missing servicemen were crew of the still unidentified ship that was hit by suspected unmanned aircraft launched by the Hezbollah Friday morning. The attack on the Israeli warships came after Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah pledged an "open war" against Israel. Israel has been hitting several targets in Lebanon for the fourth straight day to demand the release of two of its soldiers captured by the guerillas in an attack against the Israeli position on Wednesday. A spokesman for the IDF said, "During a navy operation off the Lebanese coast a missile ship was hit and we have four crew members missing. At the moment there are all kinds of operations under way to find them."
