Turkey And Philippines To Sign Air Pact
Komfie Manalo - All Headline News Foreign Correspondent Manila, Philippines ( AHN) - Press reports have the governments of Turkey and the Philippines are finalizing details to forge an air pact in a move aimed at increasing tourism and cultural traffic between the two countries. In a report published in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Philippine Ambassador to Turkey Bahnarim Guinomla said Turkish Minister for Culture and Tourism Attila Koc told him that Turkish Airlines will be expanding its operations which would include the Philippines. Turkish Air is said to be one of the fastest growing carriers in Europe. It has currently added 24 new destinations for its expansion. He said the air pact would be ready by next year and that Philippine carriers should also look into servicing opportunities in Turkey.
