Breaking: North Korea Promises More Missile Tests

North Korea (AHN) - North Korea confirms it test launched missiles Wednesday and would continue to do so.

A statement issued by North Korea warned, "Our armed forces will continue with missile launching exercises as part of efforts to build up our self-defense."

North Korea sounded international alarms after test firing seven missiles Tuesday. One of them was a long-range Taepodong-2, which is thought to be capable of reaching Alaska.

The one long-range missile tested Wednesday plummeted shortly after take-off. The other short-range missiles fell into the Sea of Japan.
