Israeli Air Strike Kills A Palestinian Woman
Ankit Gupta - All Headline News Staff Writer Gaza, Israel (AHN) - In a fresh series of Israeli air attacks against the Gaza militants, one woman was killed and 13 other Palestinians were wounded on June 21. Among the 13 wounded is a pregnant woman and four children, including two children less than a year old. Some are in critical condition. Although the Israeli army confirmed that the army had carried out a strike against a "militant cell" it did not give any further details. The strike has increased the number of Palestinian civilians killed in recent air attacks, which earned Israel international criticism for and pushed Israel to defend its tactics. The witnesses to the incident said that an Israeli aircraft fired a missile at a car on a main road near the militant stronghold of Khan Younis. The car, carrying members of the Islamic Jihad militant group, escaped the attack but the missile slammed into a nearby house.
