Update: Indonesian Floods Kill 85
Hector Duarte Jr. - All Headline News Staff Reporter Indonesia (AHN) - The floods and landslides that hit the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi are said to have killed at least 85 people. Many more are still missing following two days of heavy rain that sparked the massive floods. People are feared to be buried under the mud, as rescue teams scramble to try to find them. According to the BBC, these floods have affected at least seven districts in the South Sulawesi province. In the district of Sinjai, at least 60 people are thought to have been killed. Torrential rains frequently hit Indonesia, causing floods and landslides. Environmentalists say deforestation often adds to the flooding problem.
