Indonesian Floods Leave Many Dead
Hector Duarte Jr. - All Headline News Staff Reporter Indonesia (AHN) - Floods and landslides have reportedly killed at least 65 people on the island of Sulawesi off Indonesia. According to the BBC, two days of heavy rain have caused major flooding in South Sulawesi province. Many people are still missing and feared to be buried under the mud. A rescue operation is underway to try and find them. Torrential rains frequently hit Indonesia, causing floods and landslides. Environmentalists say deforestation often adds to the flooding problem.
