Chemical Plant Blast In China, 14 Killed

Beijing, China (AHN) - At least 14 people were killed and 26 other injured in a blast at a chemical plant in eastern China.

The blast occurred in Anhui Province on Friday during a workshop at the plant.

According to Xinhua news agency, the two-story workshop complex has been razed to the ground. Rescuers said that the rescue work is difficult, since there are combustible materials in the plant.
