Baghdad Mosque Hit By Bomb Blast, 7 Killed
Nidhi Sharma - All Headline News Contributor Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - On Friday, at least seven people were killed and 18 injured in a suicide bombing at a Shia mosque in the Iraqi capital Baghdad. The blast took place shortly before weekly prayers. According to the BBC, Friday's attack hit the Buratha mosque in northern Baghdad - the same place hit by three suicide bombers on 7 April, in an attack that killed up to 90 people. It is the first major attack in Baghdad since a massive security operation came into force on Wednesday.
