104 Insurgents Killed In Post-al-Zarqawi Iraq

Baghdad, Iraq (AHN) - The U.S. military on Thursday announced that since the death of terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the combined 452 raids by the American and the Iraqi military forces have killed 104 insurgents.

According to the AP, Maj. Gen. William Caldwell, a U.S. military spokesman in Baghdad, says the raids were carried out nationwide and led to the discovery of 28 significant arms caches.

He reveals 255 of the raids were joint operations, while 143 were carried out by Iraqi forces alone. The raids also resulted in the captures of 759 "anti-Iraqi elements."
