According to BBC news, the two Nigerian women were arrested in Spain. The Nigerian mother told authorities that the women kidnapped the boy four years ago shortly after he was born and demanded $57,118 (£31,000) for his return. BBC reveals that the boy was kept hidden from neighbors in a Madrid apartment until police tracked him down and rescued him this week. Police said the boy was healthy, although he showed signs of delayed development and had barely learned to talk.
