16 Dead In Bangladesh Boat Accident
Josephine Roque - All Headline News Contributor Chittagong, Bangladesh (AHN) - Off Bangladesh's coast, a boat capsized carrying more than 70 people. Estimated reports say that more than 50 people are missing. The AP reports that speed boats and fishing trawlers are being used to look for survivors. The official count death count is at 16, including seven children. Mohammad Badiuzzaman, a volunteer at Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, told the AP, the sea was choppy when the boat went down in what is known as Sandwip Channel in the Bay of Bengal.
