Beijing Opposes Use Of Force Against Iran

Beijing, China (AHN) - China reiterated its stand on Iran's nuclear issue and opposed use of force against it.

China made this announcement after Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai on Thursday.

On Friday, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing and visiting Iranian leader also agreed that the nuclear issue should be solved through diplomatic negotiations.

Commenting on EU proposal to Iran, an official of Chinese Foreign minister said in a press brief that, we hope the proposals will receive positive response from all parties concerned so that negotiations can be resumed soon.
