Southern China Landslides Kill At Least 12
Nidhi Sharma - All Headline News Contributor Beijing, China (AHN) - On Thursday, landslides activated by torrential rain in southern China killed at least 12 people and injured 24 in Wuzhou, a city in the Guangxi region. The official Xinhua News Agency said the rain began Wednesday and caused a series of landslides that collapsed 1,195 houses. Some 14,929 people were evacuated. In Fujian province, also in the south, the bank of a river collapsed and flooded 11 villages.
