Matthew Borghese - All Headline News Staff Writer Tel Aviv, Israel (AHN) - Seven people have been arrested after plotting an attack on an Israeli El Al airliner. According to officials, Swiss intelligence agents foiled the plot, and have arrested the would-be terrorists, all of whom are of North African decent. Philippe Roy, spokesman for Geneva airport, tells reporters that an anti-terror raid was carried out on May 12, in Zurich and Basel, after terrorists planned to use a rocket to strike a passenger airline jet in Geneva. According to the BBC, the prosecutor's office said police had begun investigating the criminal cell in early 2005 in connection with a series of robberies. Some of the gang's booty was reportedly transferred to a terror group.
