Bomb Explodes Near Convoy In Iraq
Shaveta Bansal - All Headline News Contributor Samawah, Iraq (AHN) - A roadside bomb detonated near a convoy of Australian and Japanese troops in southern Iraq on Wednesday, injuring an Iraqi bystander. Public broadcaster NHK reported that the Australian convoy was traveling in front of the Japanese troops at the time of the explosion. There were no Japanese or Australian causalities, it said. Japan and Australia have about 550 and 470 troops (respectively) in Iraq.
