Palestinian Rockets Fired At Israel

Jerusalem, Israel (AHN) - The Palestinian Islamic Jihad group fired three Qassam rockets at an Israeli town near the Gaza Strip on Wednesday where one landed near the home of Israel's defense minister.

The militant group targeted two rockets at the border town of Sderot, home to Defense Minister Amir Peretz. According to the Associated Press, the Israeli military confirmed the assault.

Eli Moyal, the mayor of Sderot, told Israel Radio, "Our luck is that the Palestinians don't know how to aim precisely. There are only two ways to stop this - either destroying the area where they fire the rockets from or controlling that area."
