4 Aid Workers Killed In Afghanistan
Nji Che - All Headline News Contributor Kabul, Afghanistan (AHN) - Four Aid workers including three women and a man were shot to death on Tuesday in the Afghan province of Jowzjan. According to local officials, all the victims were Afghans working for ActionAid charity. The charity which provides modern health care to local communities confirmed its employees were attacked in the northern region of the country. Gunmen riding in motorcycles shot them while they were driving in their vehicle. Attacks on Aid workers are common in Afghanistan, and Taliban fighters are frequently accused for them. The BBC reports it received a phone call from a man who said he was spokesman for the Taliban. He warned there would be more attacks in the north of the country.
