India, Iran, Pakistan Meet Over Gas Pipeline
Jacob Cherian - All Headline News Contributor New Delhi, India (AHN)-- Differences over gas prices has postponed the first meeting between Pakistan, India and Iran regarding the construction of a $7 billion pipeline from the Persian Gulf. Press Trust of India reports that the energy ministers of the three countries were to meet in Tehran next month to finalize the project. The meeting has been put off until mid summer, according to official sources. The talks held in Islamabad last week resulted in a disagreement when Iran found the joint price offered by India and Pakistan to be too low.
