London, England (AHN) - British politician George Galloway revealed in a statement that the assassination of Prime Minister Tony Blair would be "morally justified," but says he is not advocating it. Galloway is quoted in GQ Magazine as saying Blairs assassination would be a justifiable response to his involvement in the war in Iraq. "It would be entirely logical and explicable and morally equivalent to ordering the deaths of thousands of innocent people in Iraq as Blair did," he says. However, he continues by saying that if he was aware of anyone planning an assassination he would inform the police. Galloway was ousted from Blairs Labor Party for telling British soldiers to refuse to fight in Iraq. He has since won a new seat in the House of Commons as the founder of the Respect party
