Madrid, Spain (AHN) In a bid to strengthen the fight against organized crime in the country, Spain's Prime Minister announced on Wednesday that the country's Interior Ministry has created an intelligence center. Spanish PM Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said the country considers crime and terrorism to be the most important risk to the nation's security hence it needs an "unequivocal response. Therefore the states security forces and police bodies must have all the data they need at their disposal, Xinhua reports the PM as saying. Zapatero also said that he was mobilizing crime-fighting groups to the Mediterranean region. The government's decision was triggered off following the rise in the count of robberies in the built up areas of Spain's Mediterranean coast.
