Taliban Militants Killed Three Afghan Policemen

Kabul, Afghanistan (AHN) – Suspected Taliban Militants killed three Afghan policemen in the restive southern Helmand province, interior ministry spokesman Yusuf Stanikzai said on Tuesday.

The spokesman said that a convoy of three hundred police officers along with the chief was going to reinforce the fighting security forces in the Musa Qala district when the Taliban ambushed the convoy.

According to a report, fighting continued between the security forces and the militants in the Southern provinces of Helmand, Kandahar, Uruzgan and Ghazni in which over 300 people have died so far since last Wednesday.
