Iran (AHN)According to a health official in the northwestern province of Kermanshah, Iran, two people have died showing possible symptoms of the bird flu virus. In an interview with ISNA news agency, the head of the university hospital, says, "Four people have been hospitalized, among them a woman and her husband who have died. There are suspicions of bird flu symptoms." According to the report, the hospital official, named only as Dr. Izadi, says, "Their tests have been sent to medical centers inside the country and abroad to clarify the issue," adding that, "Another one of those hospitalized is in critical condition."
