Minibus Explosion Injures 17 In Turkey
Som Patidar - All Headline News Staff Writer Ankara, Turkey (AHN) - Seventeen people, including five police personnel, were wounded when a bomb planted inside a minibus exploded in front of a local police headquarters in the eastern part of Turkey on Saturday. The injured also included some officials of a small soccer club who were traveling from Ankara to Igdir for a match. Quoting a local official, Anatolia news agency informed that two of the injured were in serious condition. So far no group has claimed the responsibility for the bomb explosion. The Kurdish Workers' Party, a Turkey-based terrorist outfit, launched an armed campaign for an ethnic homeland within the country. Earlier Saturday, the group planted a bomb on a railway track which derailed the seven carriages of a train.
