Northern Police District Commander Leopoldo Bataoil identified those charged as Bignay village chairman Graciano Victoriano, village operations officer Santiago Lumabao and Ricky Flor. The trio were charged with multiple murder charges at the office of Caloocan City Assistant Prosecutor Ferdinand Valbuena. According to Bataoil, the police are still looking for another suspect, identified as Pandong Vergara, after one of the accused also linked him to the killings. He told All Headline News the six victims, all workers of a factory in Bulacan, were shot dead because of their boisterous behavior inside a tricycle terminal in Valenzuela on Saturday night. He said, "Their killing was unthinkable because they were reported to be just unruly." Reports indicate the victims had just come from a drinking session and were allegedly picked up before midnight on Saturday by several men on board vehicles after a tricycle driver complained of their loud voices. Their bullet-riddled bodies were found by construction workers early Sunday morning lying on a road inside the Nova Romania Subdivision at Deparo, Caloocan City. |
